THE OSC POINT OF VIEW

Orlando Scone Co. is a Central Florida small business built around handcrafted scones, afternoon tea, gathering, and a little whimsy.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE TABLE

Meet the Scone Lady.

Katrina Ryan, Founder of Orlando Scone Co

For nearly 30 years, Katrina carried the idea of baking for others with her. As a single mother raising two sons while working full-time, it was a dream that had to wait.

Later, baking became a peaceful, creative outlet. She began sharing what she made with coworkers, and their delight in her Blueberry Lemon Scones encouraged her to wonder whether the hobby could become something more.

A local holiday vendor event offered an answer: after one customer returned for more Orange Scones, Katrina sold out. That moment helped reveal the business waiting inside the dream.

Today, Orlando Scone Co. is her way of sharing care, quality ingredients, and a little joy through something she created.

Come for the scones.

They’re the heart of what we do: handmade, inviting, and always better when there’s someone nearby to share them with.
